On Wednesday of this week dozens, perhaps hundreds, of large bluefish were discarded dead along the ocean beach east of Napeague Lane in Amagansett. Groups of dead bluefish, and some spiny dogfish, as shown in the attached photographs, were scattered along the water’s edge, and many more could be seen in the shallows near shore.
