Update: The reason why I was so shocked that ZeFrank approved an ad from the controversial company pay per post was because PPP was paying bloggers to write posts without having to disclose that they were getting paid to do so. I thought there was no way that Ze would support such a practice. But that no longer seems to be the case. Michael Arrington reports on TechCrunch that Pay Per Post now requires disclosure. I have just purchased a duckie in repentance.

I’ve been a big fan of Jason Calacanis ever since I heard him on Venture Voice this summer. He just posted a transcript of the most recent Jason Nation podcast on his blog and floated a trial balloon of having “the audience insert links in the content at the wiki.” This immediately made me think of Ze Frank who has been using a wiki with his audience to create transcripts of his daily show. So I went over to the show to catch up on some episodes and what do I see? “Get Paid For Blogging!” Hmmm, I wonder where this links to? PayperPost!

I would never have thought Ze would have approved an ad from Pay per Post.
I have a lot more to say about Pay per Post, but I want to get this post up while the link is still there because I doubt that link is going to be there for long.
